Women of spiritual devotion greatly honor God. At PGBC, engaged, dynamic, dedicated, disciplined Christian women are organized in “jewel” groups by age:
- Pearls (girls, ages 5-11)
- Diamonds (ages 12-18)
- Sapphires (ages 19-30)
- Amethysts (ages 31-50)
- Emeralds (ages 51-70)
- Rubies (ages 71+)
Through vital connections, prayer and activities, the JEWELS Women’s Ministry seeks to elevate each Woman’s walk with Jesus Christ, encourage her witness, and enhance her life. We sponsor on-going activities: E-mail alerts; Women’s City-wide Prayer; Annual Retreat; National Trips; Sisterly Service Days (prayer, witnessing, cleaning homes of elderly); and more.
Over the years, the JEWEL’s Ministry have gone to Chicago, IL; Branson, MO; and Washington, DC, for times of fellowship, fun and shopping, centered around unity in Christ. They also sponsor a grand Women’s Conference. Annually, during the month of November, the Women’s Ministry reflects God’s love, providing leadership in worship, prayer, testimonies, and in other facets of ministry. Women are encouraged and compelled to strive for excellence in Christ as godly mothers, wives and women.
